Splatbook is a game-agnostic tabletop-RPG companion. The application and each game's text are licensed separately — the details are below.
The application
Splatbook is free software, licensed GPL-3.0-or-later. The source is public: https://github.com/blockbeard/splatbook.
Its architecture is modelled on prior art by Arrowed — guild-bookandMiskatonic University Registrar. Thanks to them.
Card art
The cards for His Majesty the Worm carry Pamela Colman Smith's designs as they were printed in A. E. Waite's The Pictorial Key to the Tarot (William Rider & Son, 1911) — the black-and-white plates from that book, in the public domain on both sides of the Atlantic since publication. They come from Wikimedia Commons, and each plate's source file and licence tag is recorded in the game's own art manifest rather than summarised here.
The card backs are the Adherent of the Worm, used under the book's own grant for third-party work. That mark belongs to Joshua McCrowell.
Prior art
The card table follows Crawlspace, Jason McIntosh's virtual table for His Majesty the Worm, which worked out most of what such a thing should do — that the table should move cards and not referee them, that leaving a fight sweeps it, and how long a table is worth keeping. This one exists to be free software and to live beside the rest of Splatbook; the thinking it starts from is his.
