This spell causes a light source to violently flare then fizzle out. Candles and lanterns may be relit later; torches cannot.

• Candles simply pop wax and go out; they can be lit again later.

• Torches and lanterns flare dramatically and Wound the bearer. The target catches on fire.

• Campfires cause a bomb-like explosion. Compare the sorcerer’s Speak Incantation value against the Initiative of each character in the zone. If the sorcerer’s total is higher, the creature is Blinded. This lasts until the end of the target’s next turn or equivalent.
