The funerary winding-sheet of one who died by an elf’s arrow

The sorcerer spreads the component sheet over the target. The target and everything they carry becomes Shrouded.

• A Shrouded creature is impossible to see without the aid of magic or special senses. Typically, if a Shrouded creature stands still and stays quiet, they cannot be deliberately targeted by creatures that can’t see them.

• If the Shrouded creature moves, those nearby may have a vague sense of their presence. All attempts to target them are made with disfavor.

• Shrouded creatures make harmful actions with favor against creatures who can’t see them.

The illusory magic required to hide something becomes confused and strained when the target interacts with visible objects. If the subject sharpens their sword, drinks a potion from their belt, or puts on a disguise, the invisibility is maintained. If the subject opens a door, fires an arrow at a foe, or ties a friend’s shoelaces together, an additional Resolve must be immediately spent to maintain the spell.

This spell is maintained with concentration.
