Handle logistics

Schedule the next session if you can. If not, pick a tentative date or two and make plans to confirm. Games die more often from scheduling neglect than from lack of interest.

Identify follow-up tasks. Who needs to do what between now and next time? Assign responsibilities and when they need to be done by. For example:

  • All: Confirm availability (tomorrow)
  • Hobbes: Pick date for next session, send invites (following day)
  • Jamie: Level Up (by next session)
  • Jeremy: Make a Plan for Vahid's gizmo (by next session)
  • All: Post goals for winter (by Friday)

Ask one of your players to track these tasks and follow up, ensuring that they get done. You've got enough to juggle. Let someone else do the badgering.

Finally, help the host clean up. It's basic courtesy, and shows respect for the space and the people you're sharing it with.
