4. Write-up
Once you've identified the site's contents, organize your notes and write things up in as much detail as you find useful, valuable, or fun.
The goal here is a document that helps you run the site in play. And as you create that document, you'll end up honing your craft. You'll fill in gaps. You'll find ways to improve your environmental storytelling and make the site more exciting. You'll see how the site fits together and fix things that don't make sense.
The nature of your write-up will vary from site to site, and every GM's approach is different. One of your sites might need a few paragraphs, a list or two, and some references to Book II. Another site might call for maps, room-by-room descriptions, factions, tactics, and so on.
Remember: you're writing this for yourself. Don't bother with flowery language unless you plan to read it out loud. Your write-up doesn't need to be pretty or even complete; it needs to be functional.
