▸ Provide a choice of paths

Use this move to prompt the PCs to move on, signaling that there's nothing more of interest here. Use to it remind them of their options when they decide to move on themselves. Or, use it to force a decision.

The choice of paths should be meaningful. Know where each path leads (at least in general) before you make this move, and give the players some indication of how they're different.

"Passages go left and right. Both curve inward, like so. To the left, at the end of your light, you see rubble. To the right, you can make out an alcove in the inner wall. And ahead of you, you're not sure but you think it opens to a big, vaulted room. Which way do you go?"

"So, what do you think? Do you want to head north and take those stairs up into the bluffs? Or pick your way down to the south shore and check out those ruins poking out of the lake? Or what?"
